The South Shenandoah Forum primarily serves those members of the PATC who volunteer their time and sweat to maintain the trails in the South District of Shenandoah National Park. Site visitors are welcome to read the messages posted here; you must register with this Site to contribute, however.

Neither this forum nor this Web site are owned, managed, or monitored by Shenandoah National Park or the National Park Service.

Note: All messages in all boards of this Forum are moderated. That means that the Forum rules that control posted messages are enforced.

It's quite alright to give voice to suggestions, frustrations, and compliments regarding your experiences with the Appalachian Trail in the South District, PATC, or hiking trails in general.

It is not alright, however, to use this forum to make personal attacks or "flame" others; the use of profanity and such is not welcome or permitted.
